John Morley 5 octave spinet in mahogany finish on turned and fluted legs with nylon jacks and delrin plectra with buff made in c1969

There is currently some mild fading on the lid but we are hoping to blend this away as far as possible.

The English bentside spinet or wing spinet became the domestic harpsichord of the late 17th century and through the 18th century with the longest side being less than 2 meters and almost parallel to the keyboard which would protrude from the longside no more than 74cm.

Suitable for music from William Byrd to J S Bach and beyond
