John Morley 4 octave clavichord in mahogany inlaid on turned legs with momdrona keywell, lettered inside lid "Musica magnorum est solamen dulce laborum" "Music is the sweet solice of great toils" No.3254 NEW

A small Clavichord of 4 octave compass C-D based on an unfretted (bundfrie) and unnamed south German clavichord of circa 1770 similar to smaller instrument of J C G Scheidmayer in the Württemberg Landesmuseums in Stuttgart
