John Morley 5 octave clavichord after Horn (C5+) in walnut on turned and fluted legs with lettered inside lid "Musica magnorum est solamen dulce laborum" "Music is the sweet solice of great toils". New soundboard fitted with decorative rose and newly strung in brass.

Please note : The inspiration and measurements for this instrument were taken from an original clavichord made by Johan Gottlob Horn No.321 c1789 which we had in our workshop in 1968

This instrument has just restored and has a new soundboard fitted and is strung in brass which gives it a richer sound.
